Palermo extended their Serie A winning run to three games as the Rosanero completely outclassed Roma at Renzo Barbera.

Delio Rossi’s side overcame their opponents in the standings thanks to goals from Miccoli, Ilicic and Nocerino, while all that Roma could do was score a consolation goal through sco Totti.

With this victory the Rosanero have closed the gap behind 3rd-placed Juventus to just one point.
