“We talked a lot about the first game [against Portugal]. I think we showed what we’re capable of in the first half today, that we’re able to react.
“We simply weren’t good enough in front of goal. Overall, we simply can’t lose patience so quickly.”
Team-mate Adeyemi agreed with his team-mate, stating – beaten by Portugal in the semi-finals – were too wasteful in front of goal.
” Our goal is to win every game. We could have done that today; we should have taken our chances,” he told ZDF.
“We didn’t manage that today. If we take our chances in the future, we will win our games.”
