Ipswich Town keen on re-g Omari Hutchinson from Chelsea

Ipswich Town are interested in g Omari Hutchinson from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic. The report has claimed that Ipswich have enquired about a fee.

Hutchinson spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Ipswich from Chelsea. The 20-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, helped the Tractor Boys win automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of last season. He made 20 starts and 24 substitute appearances in the Championship, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists in those games.

The Athletic has claimed that Ipswich are not the only club who are keen on Hutchinson. Teams in the Premier League and across Europe are keen on securing the services of the Jamaica international. Chelsea ended last season sixth in the Premier League table, three points behind London rivals and fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur and five points behind Aston Villa, who finished fourth.
